DOES IT
​WORK?

LEVEL 1~
​LEAN STARTUP CHALLENGE
  • Consists of three major parts, the lean startup plan slide deck, commercial and the recorded slide deck/ pitch presentation, .
  • Participants who are under 18 or still enrolled in high school are eligible to compete in the Level 1 challenge. 
  • Each entry will be composed of one to two members. All participants must present the project to the judges. All participants must respond to questions.
  • A ​written statement of assurances and academic integrity must be signed and submitted with the entry.
  • The oral presentation may be a maximum of 15 minutes.
  • Judges will evaluate the presentation, the project, and the effectiveness of the business plan.
    • Recorded persuasive slide deck presentation>15 min
    • PDF of completed slide deck
    • 1 minute commercial
LEVEL 2~
INVESTMENT CAPITAL CHALLENGE
  • Consists of four major parts, the traditional written investment capital business plan, slide deck, recorded slide deck/ pitch presentation, & 1 minute commercial
  • Open to all registered participants 13 and older, including adults.
  • Each entry will be composed of one to two members. All participants must present the project to the judges. All participants must respond to questions.
  • A written statement of assurances and academic integrity must be signed and submitted with the entry.
  • The oral presentation may be a maximum of 20 minutes.
  • Judges will evaluate the presentation, the project, and the effectiveness of the business plan.​

    • Recorded persuasive slide deck presentation >20 min
    • PDF of completed slide deck presentation
    • 1 minute commercial

Participants receive Industry-Relevant feedback from judges on every project. Participants receiving a 75% or higher on scoring rubrics will be  awarded an industry relevant microcredential
