Join our growing group of schools, districts and community programs offering our program in their region and educational communities.
Foundation4Innovation in partnership with the SBA, Collaborative Education Advisors and the Harry Singer Foundation and is 501c3 organization designed to support through learn-by-doing education to prepare participants for their innovations and start-up projects. Our organization challenges allow youth and adult participants to receive industry feedback on their innovations ideas and products, and prepare them for taking their dreams to the next level.
No matter what career aspirations, Career Technical Education (CTE) pathway or post-secondary field of study sector youth and adults participants may be involved in, the end game is always going to be to meet a need, sell the idea and secure seed money to kick-start their dreams. That's where F4i can help. Our foundation offers students, educators and participating adults in the local county area an opportunity to showcase their innovations through a series of local and accessible challenges. These challenges culminate into a year long "learn by doing" concept that ultimately prepares participants to launch their dreams. We help directly involve local programs and industry experts to assess these formative projects. Competition and public displays of work embedded into your program culture can increase engagement, deepen PBL alignment and create a common capstone across numerous courses. No need for a targeted CTSO, home-grow one! F4i allows all CTE students to be involved in an on-campus program, with content and competitions that can be adopted in ALL industry sector pathways. Bring your advisors and local industry supporters together to support ALL students in their college and career success. You can even partner with community colleges, chamber of commerce and industry partners to sponsor your costs for your region. Foundation4innovation offers customized packages to implement Alternative Forms of Leadership (Perkins V) alignment for schools and districts, community colleges and trade schools, that allow ALL CTE courses, instructors and Districts to meet and exceed the requirements, within your own community. |
Implementing F4i in your program, allows you to bring all your CTE programs together in a "Form a student club," and embedding not only common PBL across pathways, but within courses, with the idea that, "Teaching of leadership skills in embedded in the everyday curriculum." As well as "Regional Competitions" and guidance on "ePortfolios." Cash scholarships/ grants awarded to ALL winning students, as judged by industry judges from YOUR community. "Industry Micro Credentials" Awarded for participants scoring 75% or higher on their formated PBL assessments. We give you the format, content and support to create your localized "CTSO".
